Daily Deals: $50 Off Apple AirPods Pro with USB, Black Friday Nintendo Switch Mario Kart Bundle

The best news for Monday, September 18 include the upcoming Apple AirPods Pro 2nd gen with USB Type-C, a familiar Nintendo Switch console bundle, a new Pokemon TCG Scarlet & Violet Pokemon 151 Elite Trainer box, an Xbox Elite controller, the fastest PCIe 4.0 SSD on the market, and more.

2nd Gen Apple AirPods Pro with USB Type-C for $199.99

New USB Type-C Model
Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) Active Noise Cancelling Truly Wireless Earbuds
20% off $249.00

The 2nd gen Apple AirPods Pro truly wireless noise cancelling earbuds with the universal USB Type-C charging interface is still up for preorder (releases on September 22), and yet it’s already on sale. Best Buy currently has it for $199.99, a very significant $50 price drop from its $249 MSRP and currently the only vendor that has it at this price. This new model is almost identical to the 2nd generation AirPods Pro earbuds that was released a while ago but with one key difference and a few minotr ones. Apple has replaced the proprietary Lightning port with the more universal USB Type-C. That might sound like a very trivial update, but for people who want to consolidate all of their devices with the same charging cable, this is a godsend.

Nintendo Switch Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle for $299.99

Nintendo Switch Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle (Full Game Download + 3mo Nintendo Switch Online Membership Included)

Nintendo’s favorite Black Friday bundle is back. Right now you can preorder a Nintendo Switch console bundled with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and 3 months of Nintendo Switch Online Membership for only $299.99. We might have seen this exact deal for the past 3 years, but that doesn’t change the fact that this is still going to be one of the best deals you’re going to get on the Switch console. It helps that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is an absolutely must-have game for your Switch collection, and the Nintendo Switch Online membership is practically required to access online play and includes a wealth of perks like playing legacy SNES games, cloud storage, exclusive eShop discounts and more.

Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 for $99

Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Core
24% off $129.99

Amazon has just dropped the price of the professional-grade Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Core to only $99.00, a nearly 25% price drop from its $129.99 MSRP. The Xbox Elite Series 2 Core wireless controller is fundamentally the same controller as the older generation Xbox Elite Series 2 controller, but at a considerably lower price point. The original Elite Series 2 controller commands a premium MSRP of $180 while the newer Elite Series 2 Core comes in at only $130. The differences are a lot more minor than you’d think given the price discrepancy. For starters, the Elite Series 2 Core is decked out in a two-tone black & white color scheme instead of the Elite Series 2’s all-black styling. The original Elite controller also came with more stuff, including extra sets of paddles, thumbsticks, and another D-pad for ultimate customizability as well as a handy travel case. The Elite Series 2 Core doesn’t come with any of those accessories. And that’s where the differences end.

Samsung 990 Pro 2TB PS5 SSD with Heatsink for $149.99

with Heatsink
Samsung 990 Pro 2TB PCIe Gen4 x4 M.2 SSD (up to 7450MBps)
48% off $289.99

Today, Amazon has dropped the price of the 2TB Samsung 990 Pro PCIe 4.0 NVMe solid state drive (SSD) with a preinstalled heatsink to only $149.99. That’s the lowest price we’ve ever seen for what is currently the fastest SSD on the market. Note that this SSD was released in November of 2022 with an MSRP of $280. That’s a pretty huge price drop on a flagship SSD in such a short amount of time.

The 990 Pro is currently Samsung’s flagship SSD and it is one of the fastest, if not the fastest, PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs on the market. The Samsung 990 Pro is an excellent SSD for your PS5, although admitted it is overkill. Sony recommends a heatsink attached to your SSD. Fortunately, this particular 990 Pro does include a heatsink, and a nice thick, all-metal one at that.

Buy 57″ Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 Monitor, Get $500 Amazon Credit

Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 57″ Dual 4K UHD (7680×2160) QD Mini-LED Gaming Monitor with Bonus $500 Amazon Credit
Use promo code “500NEOG9”

Samsung recently announced it’s massive 57″ Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 gaming monitor for a tune of $2499.99, but if you preorder it right now you can get a rather a hefty $500 worth of Amazon credit when you use code “500NEOG9“. That’s essentially $500 you can spend on pretty much anything on Amazon.com. The 57” Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 is the first Dual 4K UHD monitor. That’s right, this monitor boasts a 7680×2160 resolution, or the equivalent of two 4K UHD monitors stacked next to each other. The Samsung “Neo G9″ monitors are equipped with a Mini LED backlight combined with a quantum dot (QLED) panel. This is a high-end panel that you’ll only find in top-shelf 4K TVs, or the most expensive 12.9” iPad Pro. It offers a much brighter image than OLED panels and offer better black levels and contrast ratios than LED LCD TVs.

Corasir MP600 CORE XT 4TB PCIe Gen 4 M.2 SSD for $159.99

Corsair MP600 CORE XT 4TB PCIe Gen 4 M.2 SSD
9% off $174.99

For Prime Day, Amazon offered a 4TB PCIe Gen4 x4 M.2 SSD for $176.99. Well today there’s an equally fast 4TB SSD from a well-known manufacturer for an even lower price. Corsair Direct has its Corsair MP600 CORE XT 4TB PCIe 4.0 (Gen4) x4 NVMe M.2 SSD for only $159.99 with free shipping. This is the least expensive 4TB PCIe 4.0 SSD we’ve ever seen. It doesn’t quite meet Sony’s recommendation for a PS5 storage upgrade (although it’s very close and probably will work just fine), but it makes an excellent low-cost high-speed storage option for your gaming PC.

No good chair comes cheap, and Secretlab chairs definitely cost a premium, but we think the craftsmanship, materials, customer service, and customizability are worth it.
