While these definitely aren’t good entry points for curious newcomers, they’re worth checking out for fans who want to explore new corners for the beloved RPG series. All three movies are getting big price cuts, making now the perfect time to pick them up. You can even pair them with one of several Final Fantasy games that are also on sale and spend the holidays exploring these beloved fantasy worlds. Check out the list of Final Fantasy Blu-ray and game deals below, and after that, head over to GameSpot’s Black Friday hub to see even more discounts.
This CGI film is a sequel to the original Final Fantasy VII on PS1, offering a look at the fate of the world and main party members following the aftermath of the game’s ambiguous ending. Advent Children: Complete Edition adds additional footage that was cut from the original theatrical release, which helps smooth out some of the pacing and plot issues that held the original version back. That said, Advent Children’s highly detailed CGI quality was lauded upon release, and even today, it stands as a testament to Square Enix’s powerful tech–especially this 4K Blu-ray edition.
While Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within has a notorious reputation as a failure that cost Square Enix (at the time Squaresoft) millions of dollars and eventually led to Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi leaving the company, it’s still worth checking out for die-hard Final Fantasy fans–especially when the 4K edition is on sale for this low–click the coupon box on the listing to get the full discount.
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within looks and sounds unlike most other Final Fantasy properties, especially of the era, taking place on Earth in the distant future, and featuring a hard sci-fi plot with only the most tenuous ties to the rest of the franchise. Nevertheless, it deals with similar ideas as Sakaguchi’s other work–namely the exploration of Gaia theory and ideas like life forces connecting living things–and it features surprisingly gorgeous CGI for the time.
Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV fleshes out the story of Final Fantasy XV, giving fans a look at events that were not shown in-game. While the game follows Prince Noctis and his entourage of friends on a road-trip-turned-world-saving-quest, Kingsglaive takes place concurrently and follows Noctis’ father, King Regis (voiced by Sean Bean), and the captain of the king’s elite Kingsglaive guard, Nyx (voiced by Aaron Paul), as they defend the kingdom of Lucis from the evil Nifelheim empire. This 4K edition also includes standard Blu-ray and digital format versions of the movie.
If you’re looking to catch up on some Final Fantasy games this holiday season, several titles are on sale during Black Friday, including numbered entries in the mainline series and spin-offs. You can grab the most recent numbered title, Final Fantasy XVI, for $25 (was $50), or catch up on the ongoing Final Fantasy VII remake saga with Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth for just $40 (was $70) and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion for $20 (was $30). These new games offer flashy action-focused combat and lush 3D visuals–but if you’re in the mood for a classic Final Fantasy experience with turn-based combat and 2D sprites, you can pick up the Final Fantasy I-VI Collection Anniversary Edition for $55 on Nintendo Switch or PlayStation.
If you missed out on Best Buy’s and Target’s Switch console bundle deals, you have another chance to save at Walmart. As part of its Black Friday sale, Walmart has the Nintendo Switch 2024 holiday bundle for $249 and the Switch OLED bundle for $299. These deals aren’t quite as good as the sold-out offers–$275 for OLED, $225 for base model–but they still offer great value and are likely to sell out soon. Both consoles come bundled with $80 worth of free stuff: a digital copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a 12-Month Switch Online membership.
If you want extra controllers for multiplayer or a more traditional gamepad for playing the Switch on your TV, you’re in luck: Along with this unprecedented pair of console deals, the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and Neon Red/Blue Joy-Con Controller Set have received their biggest discounts yet. You can save $20 on each, dropping the price of the Pro Controller to $50 and the pair of Joy-Con Controllers to $60.
The Nintendo Switch OLED Mario Kart bundle comes with the console with white Joy-Cons and matching white docking station, a 12-Month Switch Online membership, and a voucher to claim Mario Kart 8 Deluxe from the Nintendo eShop. You’re getting $80 worth of additional content compared to buying the console ($350), Mario Kart ($60), and Switch Online ($20) individually. And now you’re also getting a discount on top of that.
Along with the sharp, larger OLED screen, you’re getting numerous quality-of-life upgrades compared to the base model. The Switch OLED has a wider, better-designed dock with an ethernet port, improved speakers, and double the internal storage space (64GB). Plus, the built-in kickstand is significantly improved for tabletop mode.
Target and Best Buy sold out of the $275 Switch OLED bundle deal within a day, so your best option now is Walmart’s newly launched $299 deal. This is still an awesome price, just not quite as awesome as before. And yes, it’ll probably sell out fast, too.
The base model Switch at this discounted price would be a fantastic deal even without any extras, but you also get a voucher for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a 12-Month Nintendo Switch Online membership. This is a truly phenomenal deal.
It comes with a pair of Neon Red and Blue Joy-Con Controllers, Joy-Con Grip and wrist straps, docking station, HDMI cable, and AC adapter.
If you think you’ll spend a lot of time playing in handheld mode, the OLED is well-worth the extra $50 for the better screen. But for those who play more on their TV and tend to leave the Switch in the dock, opting for the regular Switch probably makes more sense.
The Target Black Friday Sale has kicked off in earnest with some major sneak peek discounts we’ve all been waiting for on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 consoles, peripherals, and video games. But that’s not all. Pretty much everything in its publicized ad scan has gone live, including Meta Quest VR headsets, LEGOs, board games, toys and more. These deals expire on Friday, November 29.
Target is one of my favorite one-stop shopping sites, both in-store and online. Its prices are very competitive, its return policy is generous, and it has plenty of retail locations so that buying online and picking up in-store is a convenient option. Target offers great exclusive discounts via its Target Circle membership, and best of all, joining is free. There is a paid upgrade that’s worth it for regular Target shoppers, and it’s on sale for Black Friday as well.
Black Friday Nintendo Switch Deals
The Nintendo Switch holiday bundles were already a pretty good deal. For the cost of the Switch console, you were also getting Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a one-year Nintendo Switch online membership. For Black Friday, that’s not good enough. So, starting now, Target is taking an extra $75 off both bundles: The Switch OLED bundle is marked down to $275 and the Switch bundle is down to $225. It’s refreshing to finally see a better Switch deal after years of the same thing.
Nintendo Switch OLED Model: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for $39.99
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has dropped to $39.99. In our review, we awarded this game a well deserved 10/10 “Masterpiece” rating. Tom Marks wrote that “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is an unfathomable follow-up, expanding a world that already felt full beyond expectation and raising the bar ever higher into the clouds.”
In addition to Tears of the Kingdom, plenty of other Nintendo Switch games have broken past the traditional $39.99 “sale price” barrier, including the 10/10 “Masterpiece” Super Mario Odyssey, the cat-tastic Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, the idyllic Animal Crossing: New Horizons and my kids’ favorite, Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Up to now we haven’t seen many deals on Switch games at all for Black Friday, so we’re glad to see the floodgates opening.
Sony’s Black Friday PlayStation deals all went live on Friday, November 21. Target is one of Sony’s major authorized resellers and the massive price drops I’ve seen on PS5 Slim console bundles, DualSense controllers, PS VR2 headset, and video games are all available on their site.
Sony PlayStation 5 Slim Digital NBA 2K25 Console Bundle
For those of you who have been patiently holding out on the $49.99 Star Wars Outlaws offer, kudos to you. Target will slash the price to $39.99 on Sunday and that will be the time to strike. This is a good time to get into the game since Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment recently deployed a massive update bringing a host of performance and gameplay enhancements, a range of visual improvements, and bug fixes to the open-world sci-fi game on console and PC.
More PS5 and Xbox Video Game Deals
Target just unloaded a bunch of games for sale. The best deals are on the exceedingly adorable Astro Bot for $49.99, or the gorgeous Stellar Blade for $49.99. If you’re a sports gamer, pick up the latest NBA 2K25 game for only $29.99.
Target isn’t the only retailer with games already on sale. For more deals on video games sorted by individual platform, check out our best Black Friday deal guides for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X.
If you thought the Meta Quest 3S was attractively priced at $299.99, well, this deal will blow your socks off. Target is now throwing in a bonus $75 gift card. The Quest 3S adopts many of the same features of the Quest 3, like the new Touch controllers, the upgraded SnapDragon APU, and full color AR passthrough. In his 9/10 Quest 3S review, Gabriel Moss wrote that “raw processing power, full-color passthrough, and snappy Touch Plus controllers make the Quest 3S a fantastic standalone VR headset that also brings entry-level mixed-reality gaming to the masses for – arguably – the very first time.”
Up to $150 Off the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer Smart Glasses
The Meta Wayfarer glasses are certainly an intriguing device, but many of you might not be lured in by the $300 price tag. What if I told you that you could get it for $60 less and Target will even toss in a bonus $90 Target gift card? If you’re a regular Target shopper like myself, that’s essentially as good as cash. These Wayfarer glasses are an influencer’s dream; they have a built-in camera and speakers so you can take videos and photos without every reaching for your phone.
This is easily the best TV deal in Target’s ad scan, which is why it’s on their front page. Target will drop the price on this Westinghouse TV from $499.99 to $399.99, making it one of the least expensive 75″ TVs we’ll see for Black Friday. Aside from the absolutely gigantic screen size, a native 4K resolution, and 60Hz refresh rate, this TV also features the Roku smart interface. I personally prefer Roku over Fire TV or Google TV because it’s more intuitive to use.
Need an inexpensive TV that gets the job done? Look no further than this Hisense A6 Xumo TV. This is currently the least expensive 65″ TV deal for Black Friday and has a good chance of staying that way. At this price you’re getting a pretty barebones TV, but it has all the important essentials, like a generous 65″ TV screen size with a native 4K resolution panel, built-in speakers, and an integrated Xumo TV smart interface. If you would rather use a smart interface that’s more familliar to you, you can pick up a Fire TV Stick 4K for $21.99 or a Roku Ultra LT for $34.
Black Friday Apple Deals
Target is an excellent site to source your Apple Black Friday deals. They’ve marked down the entire assortment of Apple devices, including iPads, Apple Watches, AirPods, and more. Many of them are at the lowest prices of the year, although at this point it won’t hurt to wait just a few days long and see if Target decides to move the needle just a little bit more.
Target has dropped the price of the Asus ROG Ally Z1 gaming handheld PC to only $349.99 after a $150 discount. This is currently the least expensive cost of entry to the world of gaming handheld PCs. The ROG Ally runs off Windows 11. The benefit compared to the Steam Deck, which runs off SteamOS, is that the ROG Ally is compatible with pretty much any Windows-based game client, including Steam, Battle.net, Xbox Games Pass, Epic Games Store, GOG, Ubisoft Connect, and more. That makes it more attractive to gamers who like to play games that aren’t available on Steam.
Who doesn’t love a good ol’ freebie for Black Friday? Target is offering a free pair of fuzzy wuzzy Target Adult Bullseye Slippers for Target Circle 360 members. These slippers normally cost $15, so if you sign up for the membership at the promotional price of $50, you’re already a third of the way towards getting your money’s worth!
You don’t need to be a Target Circle 360 member to get this freebie. Target is offering a single pack of the Air Wick Scented Oil Air Freshener, with warmer included, for free after you clip the $4 off Target Circle coupon. Supposedly it lasts for 60 days, and you can easily top it off with Air Wick refills. I much prefer this over scented candles because it doesn’t leave soot residue everywhere.
Target just recently kicked off its official Target Black Friday Sale, and one deal you might have missed is this really awesome MEGA Microsoft Xbox 360 Collector Building Set. It’s normally $150 but there’s a 50% discount for Black Friday that drops it to only $74.99. MEGA is similar to LEGO, but the brand (which is owned by Mattel) creates sets for IPs that don’t have a relationship with the other famous big block company. Some past and present examples include Pokemon, Star Trek, Halo, and, in this case, Microsoft Xbox. This would make an incredible gift idea for any Xbox or gaming fan who loves working on complex buildling block kits like LEGO.
MEGA Showcase Microsoft Xbox 360 Collector Building Set
MEGA Showcase Microsoft Xbox 360 Collector Building Set
One deal you might have missed is this really awesome MEGA Microsoft Xbox 360 Collector Building Set. It’s normally $150 but there’s a 50% discount for Black Friday that drops it to only $74.99. The MEGA Microsoft Xbox 360 Collector Building Set is a buildable 3:4 scale replica of the Xbox 360 console with a brick count total of 1,342 pieces (5.5 cents per brick). The details in this build are, frankly, incredible, and include interactive elements, lighting effects, and the coolest accessories. This is such an interesting product that I wrote up a dedicated Black Friday article just for this deal.
Up to 40% Off LEGO Sets
LEGOs are one of the best gift ideas for the holidays, so LEGO deals get snapped up pretty quickly during Black Friday. Target is advertising select sets for up to 40% off starting now. We’ve added all of the ones that are shown in the ad scan (even if we’re not sure what the price will be), but expect to see even more sets on sale.
Target will kick off another great book deal on Sunday: Target Circle members will be able to buy two books, movies, or music and get a third free. Some examples include the kids’ favorites Percy Jackson or Dog Man book series, the recently released Inside Out 2 on Blu-ray or 4K Ultra HD, or vinyl from superstars like Sabrina Carpenter or Taylor Swift. I’m personally hoping to fill out my Lord of the Rings library collection for this round of Black Friday.
Target’s online storefront has a great assortment of board games, definitely much broader than the selection you’ll find in its retail stores. Many of these board games are going to be on sale with discounts of up to 50% off. We can’t tell exactly which board games will be marked down outside of whatever few examples are shown in the ad scan, but here’s a list of our favorite board games that we hope will go on sale.
Who says Thanksgiving get-togethers have to be expensive for the host? Target is offering enough food to provide for a Thanksgiving meal for four for under $20. The list includes a 10lb turkey, potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, gravy, cream of mushroom soup, and green beans. This deal is already live.
Like Amazon and Walmart, Target has its own paid membership that offers great perks in addition to the great deals you are entitled to as a Target Circle member. The Target Circle 360 membership normally costs $100 per year, but the price drops to $50 for Black Friday. Exclusive perks include free two-day shipping with no minimum, free same-day delivery on orders over $35, delivery to other addresses, and an additional 30 days added to your return window.
When Is Black Friday 2024?
We’re in the home stretch: Black Friday falls on November 29 this year. All month long, retailers have been rolling out sales, ramping up to massive discounts on Black Friday and through the weekend into Cyber Monday. There are already some fantastic deals available on PS5 consoles and controllers, video games for all platforms, AirPods Pro, and tons more.
Eric Song is the IGN commerce manager in charge of finding the best gaming and tech deals every day. When Eric isn’t hunting for deals for other people at work, he’s hunting for deals for himself during his free time.
Early Black Friday UK Deals are rolling strong this year, and it’s the perfect time to snag deals on portable gaming gear that’ll level up your setup on the go. Are you hunting for a portable console, an upgraded controller, or a next-gen gadget? These discounts make it easy to save big and reinvest those savings into something truly next-level, like the XREAL Air AR Glasses. Imagine gaming on a massive 201-inch virtual screen wherever you are.
With discounts like 21% off the ASUS ROG Ally and 33% off the CRKD Nitro Deck, you’re already grabbing enough Black Friday savings to justify the splurge on the AR experience of your dreams. So why not treat yourself to the ultimate portable gaming setup? These deals are here now, but they won’t last long.
This is portable gaming done right. The ASUS ROG Ally crams some serious tech into a lightweight device, giving you a full gaming PC experience without chaining you to a desk. It’s powered by an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor and Radeon graphics, which means it can handle everything from the latest AAA blockbusters to indie gems without sweat. The 7-inch Full HD touchscreen is smooth as butter, offering a 120Hz refresh rate that makes fast-paced action look flawless. Weighing just 608 grams, it’s ridiculously easy to carry around—perfect for gaming on the couch, in bed, or on the go. At £399 (down 21%), it’s priced to tempt even the most frugal gamers.
Nintendo Switch – OLED Model (White) + Super Mario Bros. Wonder Pre Installed Switch Online 12 Month Subscription
Nintendo Switch – OLED Model (White) + Super Mario Bros. Wonder Pre Installed Switch Online 12 Month Subscription
The Nintendo Switch OLED might make your old Switch jealous. Its upgraded 7-inch OLED screen is bright, bold, and colourful, adding extra magic to every game. This bundle includes Super Mario Bros. Wonder, which takes the classic side-scroller we all know and love and gives it some chaotic twists. Think power-ups that turn Mario into an elephant. (Yes, really.) You can tackle the game solo or round up a few friends for some laugh-out-loud multiplayer mayhem. To sweeten the deal, a 12-month Switch Online subscription is thrown in, so you can dive into retro classics or battle it out online. It’s all yours for £289.95 — a pretty sweet setup if you ask me.
If you’re tired of Joy-Cons letting you down, the CRKD Nitro Deck might be your new best friend. This sturdy controller attaches directly to your Switch, offering zero stick drift (finally), re-mappable buttons, and swappable thumbsticks for a customized feel. It even charges your console while you play, so you can go hard on your gaming marathons. Whether chasing high scores or crushing enemies, this deck makes everything more seamless. At just £39.99 (a solid 33% off), it’s an easy win for anyone who takes Switch gaming seriously.
Battery anxiety is real, but the CUKTECH 20 power bank has your back. With a massive 20,000mAh capacity, this compact charger can handle your Switch, Steam Deck, or ASUS ROG Ally like a champ. It’s powerful enough to keep you going through the longest gaming sessions yet small enough to toss in a bag without weighing you down. Playing on a plane or just forgetting to charge before heading out? This little lifesaver ensures you’re never caught without power. If you’re serious about portable gaming, this is one accessory you’ll want in your arsenal for over 20% off.
Why strain your neck looking at a tiny screen when you could project a massive 201-inch display right in front of your face? That’s the beauty of the XREAL Air AR Glasses. They’re lightweight (just 79 grams), comfortable, and compatible with everything from laptops to gaming consoles like the Nintendo Switch. Perfect for gaming, streaming, or just zoning out with your favourite shows, these glasses bring a personal movie theatre vibe wherever you go. For £249, it’s a splurge that makes screen time way more fun and less awkward than staring at your phone.
Whether you’re doing early holiday shopping or just want to snag a cheap game for your own library, a bunch of notable Nintendo Switch games are now on sale at Woot. Most of the major Super Mario titles for Switch are featured in Woot’s impressive catalog of deals, including Mario & Luigi: Brothership, the latest Mario role-playing game that just released on November 7. You can save $10 on Mario & Luigi: Brothership, but you probably don’t want to wait too long to scoop it up, as Woot’s deals on recent Switch releases tend to sell out fast. Prime members get free (and fast) shipping on all orders placed at Woot.
Mario & Luigi: Brothership is the first entry in the series to release on a home console–though it also feels right at home on Switch in handheld mode.
Brothership has garnered mixed reviews from critics, but it holds a 79 Metascore on review aggregator Metacritic (a GameSpot sister site). Fans of the series have been a bit more positive, as Brothership’s user score average is 8.4/10.
The duo’s latest turn-based RPG is set in Concordia, a once prosperous world that has been broken into an island chain; it’s your job to reconnect it.
You can also save on the most recent platformer in the Mario series, as Super Mario Bros. Wonder is available for $45 (was $60). The title brings Mario back to his side-scrolling roots, and the addition of Wonder Flowers makes the stages more dynamic than ever before. Collecting these magical objects radically reworks the level, causing pipes to come alive or enemies to stampede across the screen. Our Super Mario Bros. Wonder review gave it a 9/10, and it’s an easy recommendation for all Switch owners.
Nintendo World Championships, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is also discounted to $45 (was $60). Consider giving the remaster a look if you want to enjoy engaging turn-based combat and a wonderful cast of characters. Our Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door review awarded the charming role-playing game a 9/10, thanks to dynamic combat, beautiful HD visuals, and hilarious writing that’s held up nicely over the years.
One quirk about shopping for Switch games at Woot these days is that you aren’t guaranteed to receive a North American versionof physical titles. Nintendo Switch is region-free, however, so if you’re sent a UK or Japanese version, you’ll still be able to play it in English without any issues. If you decide to purchase DLC, just make sure you’re purchasing the DLC from the same region.
This adds an extra step, as you’ll need to access a different region’s eShop on your Switch with a new Nintendo account. This is understandably a dealbreaker for some users, but most of the Switch games on sale at Woot don’t have DLC. But you should keep this in mind before buying a game with a heavy emphasis on DLC, such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

It’s a great time to be a Xenoblade Chronicles fan. Not only did Nintendo recently announce Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition is launching for Nintendo Switch on March 20, 2025, but several sought-after Xenoblade Amiibo figures are finally back in stock online.
For Xenoblade Chronicles 3 fans, there’s a two-pack collection featuring Noah and Mio for $40, and if you’re a regular player of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, you can get the Monado-wielding Shulk from Xenoblade Chronicles for $16 or Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s Pyra and Mythra together in a combo pack for $59. It’s worth grabbing these figures soon since they’re some of the most popular Amiibo figures, and we expect them to sell out quickly.
These Amiibo restocks are an excellent chance to add some of the most popular Xenoblade characters to your shelf before Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition releases. If you still need to secure your copy of the game, be sure to check out our Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition preorder guide to see everywhere the Switch-exclusive RPG is currently available ahead of release.
There is plenty of other cool merch out there related to the Xenoblade series and its siblings Xenosaga and Xenogears. We’ve gathered up a list of some of the standout pieces currently available, like action figures of characters like T-elos, KOS-MOS, Eunie, and more. These figures feature an impressive amount of articulation, so you can easily make them strike an eye-catching pose.
There are also some great options for anyone who enjoys building and painting mecha models, including a Xenogears three-piece model packsthat are on sale for $90 (was $130). Whether you’re doing early holiday shopping or just want to snag a cheap game for your own library, a bunch of notable Nintendo Switch games are now on sale at Woot. Multiple of Nintendo’s marquee franchises are featured in the sale, including almost all of the Super Mario platformers on Switch, a bunch of games starring Mario’s pals, and the two most recent entries in The Legend of Zelda franchise. This is a great opportunity to add some rarely discounted and new-release titles to your Switch library. Prime members get free (and fast) shipping on all orders placed at Woot.
Nintendo World Championships, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
These deals were originally expected to end on Halloween, but Woot extended them by a few weeks. That said, Nintendo Switch game deals at Woot tend to sell out fairly quick. A few of the games on this list have sold out multiple times throughout the past week or so, but Woot restocked its inventory on Halloween.
One of the most notable deals at Woot is Super Mario Bros. Wonder for just $45 (was $60). The title brings Mario back to his side-scrolling roots, and the addition of Wonder Flowers means every level has a unique twist to them. Collecting these objects will radically rework the level, causing pipes to come alive or enemies to stampede across the screen. Our Super Mario Bros. Wonder review gave it a 9/10, and it’s an easy recommendation for all Switch owners.

Nintendo Switch is region-free, however, so if you’re sent a UK or Japanese version, you’ll still be able to play it in English without any issues. Sonic X Shadow Generations launched last Friday, October 25, but Nintendo Switch users can already save $10 on a physical copy of the game. Amazon-owned retailer Woot has Sonic X Shadow Generations on sale for $40, though this deal is only available for the next couple of days. It’s one of many notable deals on Nintendo Switch games up for grabs ahead of Halloween. Most of the other titles on sale are first-party Switch games published by Nintendo, including multiple Zelda and Mario adventures. Check out the list of the best Switch game deals below.
Note: If you buy a Nintendo Switch game from Woot, there’s a chance you will get an international edition. The Nintendo Switch is a region-free console, so you can play games released in other regions in English without issue.
The new game features a remastered edition of Sonic Generations, which was originally released on Xbox 360 and PS3 back in 2011, plus an all-new story campaign featuring Shadow the Hedgehog. To read more about both, check out GameSpot’s Sonic X Shadow Generations review.
Sonic X Shadow Generations
Lego Shadow the Hedgehog Deal
For even more Shadow the Hedgehog fun, Target is offering a 15% discount on the recently released Lego display set. The 720-piece Shadow the Hedgehog bust launched October 1, so being able to snag it for only $59.49 (was $70) already is a tad bizarre. The Shadow Lego kit is exclusive to Target and the Lego Store. This deal is available all week–unless it sells out before then. We included the full Lego Sonic lineup below, as several other building sets are on sale right now at Amazon.
Sonic X Shadow Generations just released this week, and you can already save $10 off a Nintendo Switch copy at Woot. This package includes a remastered version of Sonic Generations and a brand-new campaign focused on Shadow. Both 2D and 3D levels are included, making for the ultimate package for any Sonic fan.
Bloober Team’s remake of Silent Hill 2 is on sale for the very first time this weekend at Amazon. Recreating one of Konami’s most beloved titles was never going to be easy, but the Silent Hill 2 remake delivers an immersive horror experience that preserves almost everything that made the original so great. In our 8/10 review, we said the game “smoothly polishes down the rough edges of the original game’s combat while taking a piece of heavy grit sandpaper to scuff up every rust and mold-covered surface of its nightmarish environments, successfully making them appear far more abrasive and menacing to explore.”
EA Sports College Football 25 is available on sale for $42.99 this weekend. This game marked the first college football title from EA since NCAA 14, as a lawsuit regarding player NIL (name, image, and likeness) prevented the company from producing further entries. Many of the older modes have returned to College Football 25, including Dynasty, Team Builder, and Road to Glory. Of course, dozens of new features have been added, including Stadium Pulse, which creates challenging road environments in college football’s biggest stadiums.
The remake of Super Mario RPG is $31.99 at Woot right now, which is a great price for this classic title. If you’ve yet to either play the original or check out the remake, this is the perfect time to do so.
